WASHINGTON – The Competitiveness Coalition today announced the New Mexico-based think tank, Viante, as our newest member. Viante is the 25th member and is the 6th state-based organization to join the Coalition – further underscoring the groundswell of support across the nation for preserving American competitiveness, innovation and free markets.
“We’re excited to welcome Viante to the Coalition and look forward to working with them to elevate competition-related issues within the Land of Enchantment and across the country,” said Chair Scott Brown. “Strength is in numbers and the Coalition’s continued growth is sending a clear message to legislators and Biden-appointed bureaucrats that their radical antitrust agenda is far from popular.”
Viante’s membership arrives at a critical time as the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) faces key U.S. House investigations and calls for Chair Lina Khan to resign. For over a year the Competitiveness Coalition has been calling attention to the FTC’s overreach and concerning actions under Khan’s leadership.
