Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF) Joins the Competitiveness Coalition

WASHINGTON – The Competitiveness Coalition today announced that the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF) has joined the Coalition as its 25th member. ITIF’s focus on the intersection of technological innovation and public policy, competitiveness, and regulation adds another strong voice to the Coalition’s chorus of individuals and organizations fighting for American innovation.

“The recent demise of Spirit Airlines has laid bare the consequences of reckless antitrust policy, and having a powerhouse organization like ITIF join our growing ranks is critical to our effort to spur innovation and economic growth,” said Competitiveness Coalition Chairman Ronna McDaniel. “Even now, the Elizabeth Warren and Lina Khan-led antitrust forces are seeking to forge ahead with an agenda that would handicap our innovators and hamstring growth and opportunity. We look forward to working with ITIF to preserve and protect American technological leadership and outcompete Communist China in the industries of the future.

“The Information Technology and Innovation Foundation is pleased to join the Competitiveness Coalition to push back against misguided antitrust policies that threaten technological innovation and U.S. global leadership,” added ITIF President Daniel Castro. “Rather than strengthening American competitiveness, overly broad and punitive approaches risk slowing the progress our economy depends on. We look forward to working with coalition partners to champion smarter, evidence-based policies that support dynamic markets and breakthrough innovation.”
